We are looking for a kind and empathetic individual to provide care for my 86-year-old father who resides with us. He is experiencing the early stages of dementia. Our family is in need of a caregiver who can visit 2-3 times a week for approx. 2 hours each time. Responsibilities would include assisting him with bathing, dressing, and some light housekeeping tasks like changing his bed linens. The ideal candidate would be adept at gently encouraging him to bathe (as he can sometimes be reluctant), engaging him in pleasant conversation, and accompanying him for a brief walk outside when the weather permits.
