About who needs care: They have actute on chronic heart failure and stage 4 kidney disease. They enjoy political discussions and talking about current events. There is very little structure which is why assistance is needed. Their memory is quicky deterioating and thier personality can make them stubborn and illogical. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and a good listener would be a good fit. They would also need to be willing to enforce some structure and communicate well with the family so solid care choices can be made on her behalf. If the care person can help fill pill boxes and make sure medication is taken on time that would be a great help. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
