Seeking companion care for my mother (77). She had a stoke in 2022 and is dealing with some loss of function on her left side. She can walk, but is slow. She was independent and self-sufficient until her stroke, so she is frustrated with having to depend on others for help. She was relocated to Florida from Mississippi after her living situation no longer allowed her to live alone. About the care needs: someone who is patient and kind. She is somewhat of a loner, so not overly chatty. She tires easily, so we are looking to set up a regular route for transport to doctor appointments and weekly grocery store shopping. We are also looking for activities to help strengthen her mobility and brain and get her some socialization other than family. Our main concern is to increase her activity level and get her into a routine.
