We're looking for a companion for our mom who recently had a massive stroke. She's been struggling with speech (severe aphasia) and has not been able to go back to driving yet. She's 50 years old and we're looking for someone who could help her with her speech therapy exercises (very easy to explain) as well as someone who could take her out to walk around stores or for a walk on a nice day. We're also hoping someone could help her with cooking meals during the time you work with her. She knows exactly what people are saying to her and knows what she wants to say but can't get the words out clearly which can be frustrating. We essentially just need someone who could be a friend to her and help keep her from sitting on the couch all day! Please let us know if you'd like to talk more about this position!!
