Looking to fill a day time personal care assistant (PCA) position. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. max hours Or as little as 9-2 Up to 40 hours available, but hours can be adjusted as long as they are consistent. Hourly pay: $18. 50 Payroll through a waiver program About who needs care: 31-year-old male, wheelchair user with muscular dystrophy Owns a dog (chihuahua, he's friendly and mellowed out as a senior dog) About the care needs: electric ceiling lift and sling used for transfers. Training can be provided. Some experience in healthcare is preferable but not necessary. Services needed include: transfers, positioning, dressing/undressing, bathing, light housework, transportation, running errands, and occasional meal prep *Driving a wheelchair van
