About the job

About who needs care: Has some mobility issues on occasion. She is fearful of falling and unsure of her own abilities at times when she spends too much time alone. She can walk well with a walker when she feels confident. She like drawing/coloring, knitting, playing dominoes, and watching certain TV shows. A perfect day would be getting up and cleaned up for the day, getting to the meals offered at the place she is currently living and getting to a few activities during the day. About the care needs: The person has to be patient and kind. The caregiver needs to understand that the person has some learning disabilities that has made it difficult for her to adapt to some social interactions and her frustrations with herself can lead to temper outbursts on occasions. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
