Seeking Registered IHSS provider for my mother who has mild Dementia and balance issues. This position will be paid through IHSS at the current IHSS pay rate. I can not pay any additional for IHSS hours. There may be an opportunity to work some hours outside IHSS and be paid direct for those. Responsibilities include bathing - dressing and hygiene care Meal preparation - giving medication and help with eating. Housekeeping of her areas of the home - bedroom, bathroom, and exercise room. Assistance with walking and light physical exercise. Providing companionship and social interaction. Transportation to doctor's appointments. My mother is very easy going, she watches TV and plays puzzles. We have a small dog so you must be comfortable with dogs. Need to be a non smoker as I have allergies to smoke.
