I am a virtual teacher working from home and need care for my kiddos during class hours.
My 3. 5 yo will be going to pre school T-F from 12-3 p.m. and In plan on taking him to school most days.
My 13-month-old naps at about 12:45 and In an hoping to be able to put him down for his nap most days as well.
Nanny Job Responsibilities:
-Provides customized and personalized childcare for children in our home.
-Administer one-on-one care and meet the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.
-Contribute a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop.
-Keep the children's areas neat and tidy and fold and put away the children's laundry. This includes cleaning the kitchen after use, vacuuming the floors up after the children, putting away dishes if needed, wiping up any messes etc. (leave the house the way it was when you arrived)
-Transport children to and from activities using household vehicle when needed, and plan the children's daily schedule (story time at library, park outings, toddler town etc)Organize creative activities and educational games (e. g. drawing, crafting and puppet games)
-prepare children's snacks and meals/ pack up snacks and meals if leaving the home
-Change diapers and bathe infants/ toddlers as needed
-Help older children wash up and take baths as needed
-Structure nap times when parent is not available
-Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with cleaning up
-Ensure children's safety during indoors and outdoors activities
-Take care of children in case of injury or illness
-Work with parents to ensure children's growth and social development
-May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.
Requirements and skills
-Previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter
-Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages
-Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children
-A pleasant and patient personality
-Works as a team
-A clean driving license
High school diploma; further training in child development is a plus
-CPR/FA, 1 & 2 (within 6-12 months of hire), and CPI certification
-Minimum one (1) year of professional or personal experience supporting children with disabilities or challenging behaviors a plus
-Must have a valid in-state driver's license
