About the job

About who needs care: Working on getting an official dementia/alzheimers diagnosis. COPD and asthma, arthritis, can't have too much calcium because of her kidneys Only wants a woman to help bathe, dress, and help with toileting. Pretty happy and pleasant unless she's not feeling well. Trying to continue with inhome pt and ot but it's been difficult. Not much of a breakfast person and doesn't like to wake up before 9-10 a.m. Meds in the morning. Meal and snacks. Likes to watch her shows. She used to do all kinds of crafting but she can't no more. Likes doing puzzle books. Likes to sit outside every now and then. Gets anxious easily and it's hard in public. Constantly complains she's always cold. Takes lots of naps, play with the grandkids for a bit, dinner and then stays up late. About the care needs: She hates republicans and will get upset about past presidents. Loved gardening and planting flowers. Likes being outside when it's nice out. Needs assistance with everything. Gets distracted easily and forget what she's doing. Won't eat unless you put food in front of her. I give 2 options that I'd think she'd like. Otherwise she'll say she's not hungry. Someone with a happy personality who can take sarcasm and jokes. Needs lots of patience and is gentle. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
