About the job

About who needs care: My Mom has Alzheimers and needs help with meal prep, going food shopping, activities such as dancing, taking walks. She is physically fit. She can feed herself but needs to have oversight of her diet and water intake. She is very independent minded but needs help with every day things and reminders. She has a place which has concerts during day that she like to dance to. About the care needs: They would have to be patient and respectful. They would need to have a sense of humor. My Mom likes to talk but she also likes to be left alone. She will repeat the same stories at times. She will let you know if she doesnt like something. Sometimes she needs time to process changes, in general she is not good with change. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
