My mother is in her 60s and is completely disabled with MS. Knowledge of how to use a hoyer lift is a plus. Job would be Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (these can be either 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift OR split for a 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then a 3 p.m. to 5 PM) Duties Typically Include: Getting patient out of bed Change patient's diapers Get patient ready for the day (get her dressed, teeth brushed, showered, etc.) Feed patient meals She usually watches a lot of TV or likes to be pushed around the neighborhood in her wheelchair so there is some down time in the day. Get patient ready for bed. Patient has a mobility van and every once in a while needs to be taken to an appointment. There is a large, overly friendly dog in the home but you will not need to take care of the dog.
