About the job

Looking for holiday and fill-in caregivers for elderly mother with mobility problems, urinary incontinence, arthritis, and insulin dependent diabetes. She is able to stand and pivot but cannot ambulate more than 1 or 2 steps. She uses commode and wears disposable underwear and pads. Needs assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and preparing meals. Light housekeeping such as doing dishes from meals required with occasional laundry or other tasks. She enjoys playing cards and other games. This position is paid through NY CDPAP program so this would require an application and physical and blood work. Current pay rate is $18. 10 per hour.
