I need a hands-on care provider for my 20-year-old son who has autism. We are in search of a responsible, caring adult to work as a mentor/caregiver for my 20-year-old son Max, who has autism. Max is friendly and cooperative. He likes riding his scooter, playing with toy animals, play dough, reading books, roller blading, bike riding and many other activities. His speech is limited and he needs assistance with self-care and supervision to ensure his safety. The ideal candidate will have experience with people with developmental disabilities, a clean driving record, strong references, interest in working 10-20 hours/week over the summer (and possibly beyond) including some weekend shifts and an occasional overnight. Hours are flexible and pay rate starts at $21/hour with higher rates available for those who sign up through an agency (RCIL)
