About the job

We are currently in search of a part time personal care aide for our adult physically challenged daughter, Kelly who has Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a motorized wheelchair. She lives in her own home trying to be as independent as possible. Kelly graduated from college, so mentally does pretty well, but is physically challenged to perform most daily tasks. The hours currently available are Tuesday and Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available from time to time for call offs and requested days off by other aides. The position is through the CAPPS program of NC. Starting rate is $19. 00 per hour.
