About the job

Seeking hands-on care near Brier Creek in Raleigh for my mother, age 82. Light housekeeping needed. We're looking for some help preparing healthy meals. Duties may include transportation (doctor's appointments, shopping for meals, etc.). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker (due to oxygen machine in the house) and comfortable with pets. She has stage 4 cancer, AFib, and is on oxygen. She is very chatty and appreciative. My dad is there with her, he is quite independent but is 85 and a hands on caregiver for a couple of hours a day would take some things off of him. Schedule is somewhat flexible but optimal hours would be 1-3 daily for hands on assistance, meal prep and some light housekeeping.
