About the job

About who needs care: My dad has Lewy Body Dementia. Mental he is pretty sharp most days but struggles with short term memory issues (did he take his pills 10 minutes ago), structuring day, and over the last month he has become unable to walk more than a few steps, use the bathroom alone, and bathe himself. We would like someone to help in these areas for personal care, his laundry, helping encourage activities throughout the day like watching church service on the iPad, driving to appointments as necessary. About the care needs: This person would need to be able to physically help him out of bed or up if he falls, etc. He's about 6 ft 185 lbs. He has a good sense of humor and it would be great to find someone who does too. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
