About the job

About who needs care: Mom currently lives in Memory Care with full-time staff but she has severe anxiety with dementia and agitation & is also in hospice care. She requires a 1:1 to assist her with toileting, transfers to wheelchair for walks, but mostly a presence to calm her so that she isn't alone. Facility staff oversee all meds, showering, meals, etc. About the care needs: Ideally, a companion with a calm demeanor, compassion and patience to help deal with Mom's anxious and agitated state; she does sleep quite a lot; but a soft-spoken, gentle & reassuring presence is best for her. Services needed include: companionship.
