About the job

About who needs care: My mom has stage 5 Parkinsons but still has mobility. She also has early stage dementia, howeve she typically sleeps at night, and just needs help going to the bathroom at night or in the morning. The shift hours are 9p-9a (Sun-Thur bi-weekly & Sun-Wed biweekly). The work is easy; just ensuring someone is there with her at night. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would have a passion for the elderly, previous CNA or Healthcare experience (particularly with dementia) would be a plus, patience, willing to be a companion/talk when she's up to it, and someone who will keep my mom's bedroom, etc., clean. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
