About the job

About who needs care: She has cellulitis in her leg with weeping. She uses a walker with a seat and sit and push herself the house. She is unable to bathe herself without help. She watches a lot of tv. She likes to read but doesn't always do it. She also used to oil paint. There is no structure to her day. Other than Meals on Wheels come in on Monday through Friday around 10:30 to 11 a.m. She does get her days and nights mixed up. About the care needs: Sometimes my mom can be obstinate. The caregiver needs to be able to make her understand they are there to help her and the benefits of the care they are giving especially with her wound. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
