About the job

About who needs care: My mom has ALS. She has limited use of her hands, cannot speak (though she has a communication app on her iPad), and gets nutrition mainly through a feeding tube. We are looking for someone to help a few times a week with daily activities like hygiene and showering and (if possible) nutrition (i. e. feeding tube). Looking for the right person with experience with ALS patients. My mom loves Word games, puzzles, dogs, gardening, art and much more. About the care needs: ALS experience is a must. Should be warm with a sense of humor to make her smile. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
