Client: Early 70's female. Parkinson's diagnosis now severe sciatica. Weather affects her fibromyalgia and can make a bad day worse for movement. A genteel, rather proper sort of person, very caring and compassionate.. a soft personality, Mentally struggling with homebound isolation, keeping any sked, etc. Has some anxiety. Morning is a FT event, getting up, dressed, take first round of meds with some food and get downstairs (about 3 hrs). Rest. Try to organize papers, pay bills, make medical phone calls, order groceries on line,, etc. Difficult to focus. Just started Wellbutrin about a week ago. A great smile and can be a lot of fun! About the care needs: Someone with calm, unflappable demeanor and a good sense of humor. Major patience. Reliable and caring.
