About who needs care: Husband suffered a stroke, has severe peripheral artery disease, aphasia, a brain aneurysm, and coronary artery disease. Looking for someone to engage in conversation with him and encourage him to move; take him to the rec center and work with him on physical, aerobic activities; remind him to take his daily medications, perhaps work with him on a simple morning meal prep. He enjoys sports but doesn't seem motivated to watch anymore (maybe the nearby high school baseball games could be an activity?). He golfs, but his mobility issues make it painful. About the care needs: A male carer would be a better fit, someone who is strong, enjoys physical activity, and can be a motivator/team player. If they are a Bronco fan, all the better. They can take him to a game (we have season tickets) Services needed include: transportation, companionship, and mobility assistance.
