About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my mother in Arvada. One of your responsibilities will be helping with dressing and putting her hearing aids in. Additional responsibilities include minimal meal preparation. She would need help with her (1) 22lb. dog and a cat. (ie: feeding or letting the dog out, cleaning a litter box) Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Looking for weekends SAT & SUN. 5:30-8:30 am/pm. She is 96 with mild dementia. She is petite, excercises daily, uses a walker, wears hearing aids. She has neuropathy in her dominant right hand so has difficulty dressing and putting in her hearing aids. She uses a walker for stability. She is generally a happy person and very appreciative. She needs help getting going in the mornings then getting her thru her bedtime routine.
