PT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Newton, MA Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 12:30-6:30pm, Wed, 11:30am-6:30 p.m. (31 hours/week) Children: 7 and 9 years old Duties: Duties include engaging children in age appropriate activities, driving children to/from school and activities, and handling children's meals and laundry. Family Assistant duties will be completed while children are in school, and may include packing school lunches, organizing, general tidying, light meal prep and running errands. The Family has a housekeeper who handles the deep cleaning. Requirements: 3+ years of professional childcare experience including recent experience caring for school age children, a good driving record, and a clean criminal record. Ideal candidate will be engaging, loving, patient and able to keep kids focused in a gentle manner. Must have excellent communication skills! Experience working with children who have high functioning Autism and/or ADHD is a plus but not required. Family would love to find someone who is looking for a long term commitment! Pets: None Driving/Parking: Driving is required. Family will provide a car for work-related driving. Parking is available. Travel: None Additional Information: Both parents work from home a few days per week. Compensation: $34-36 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays and paid sick days, a health stipend is negotiable Start Date: ASAP but can be flexible
