About the job

We're searching for a long-term, nurturing, and active nanny to join our family by July 1 (or earlier). My daughter is a happy, active 26-month-old, and we're in downtown Mountain View. We're looking for someone who is experienced (at least 3 yrs of working with 2-4 yr olds), patient, and reliable. Pay rate is competitive (must use payroll; includes standard vacation benefits). Looking for someone flexible to help with childcare (cooking/feeding, playing, organizing at-home activities, reading, etc.) and household tasks (e. g., dishes when needed, tidying up play areas, folding child laundry). Guaranteed 36 hrs/wk, with most weeks being 40+ hrs (with some flexibility for evenings/weekends). Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be active, and be knowledgeable of Respectful Parenting, RIE, or Reggio/Montessori principles.
