Although I have not experienced "in-home" care, I worked for 11 years at a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Hemet. I worked in the Marketing/Sales Dept. I was responsible for very confidential personal and financial information of my senior clients. I met with thousands of seniors; I toured, dined, explained and answered many questions, I was responsible to do home visits. And I played a part in putting together their move to our community. I have a clean background and driving record. Of course car insurance. I have a newer car with easy access (Versa Hatchback). My mom always comments how it is so easy for her. I have several friends that say how comfortable they are with my driving. I have the highest respect and fondness for our seniors. While thinking of how I would want my mom treated, I would want to trust who is coming into her house, with her and her things. I would want her treated with respect; just because she is 80, she doesn't feel that in her heart. I wanted her respected, not treated like a child. My passion is to be able to with seniors again. I enjoy talking and just being with seniors. I have some residents that we still remain friends and email or chat on the phone. I have listed my ex-director as a reference. I also have a few residents that I worked with that would love to give me a reference. In my past work, not only did I love and respect our residents, they really were and still are attached to me. A little personal information about me: I have 2 beautiful granddaughters (1 and 2 years old) who are the light of my life. Also, they will get a little brother or sister in the summer 2014. I have a little dog that has me well trained. I love going on long walks as she does too. She is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. I never knew how much that would mean to me. I enjoy working on the computer and I have always loved card/board games. I am a bit of a home buddy. I spend a lot of time with my mom; she lives in Hemet. I love to be with my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters. Every now and then, I get together with some long-time friends of 30 years that still live in Orange County. I am a person of loyalty and my friends will describe me as one of the most passionate people they know. I have a resume with my past work history. I am extremely stable.
