Growing up with a mother and older sister who have always been caretakers of children. I have experience with all age groups. I've been around everything from troubled teens to newborns. Like most teenagers when I turned 16 I began trying to make my own path by branching out into different areas of retail. Although I didn't work with children directly I still always went home to kids playing in my room or sleeping on my bed surrounded by pillows. A couple of those kids are still around and now are members of my family. At the age of 20, I decided to get back to my roots. I started working in day cares and although I appreciated the experience and business knowledge I gained, the politics of a daycare was something I could do without. So not long after my 22nd birthday I jumped into nannying. I loved being able to cater to the needs of children individually. I truly found my passion in nannying and I am eager to continue the journey with a family that will incorporate me into their lives and not make me feel like the help.
