Hello! My name is Melanie. I am 22 years old, a nursing student, and have had experience in caregiving for the elderly. I took care of my grandmother on hospice by myself for six months, and I now advocate for her daily at her nursing facility. I am very responsible and caring. I know that families take on a lot of responsibility when caring for young children and the elderly, and now that I have free time while in college, I would be overjoyed to help out. I am comfortable taking care of older adults, as I have stated, as well as children. I am skilled at housekeeping, cooking (I really enjoy cooking for others!), and entertaining. Running errands and transporting people is also fine. I have my own vehicle, which I take care of, so any transportation on my part would be safe. I am also comfortable with pets.
