I have live in Hanover, PA. since Sept 2009. I have been working part-time for Endless Options (Children with Autism), mainly respite care on call. My true passion is caring for others, young, old and in between. Everyone at some point in their lives needs an extra, honest, reliable and responsible helping hand. That's who I am! Whatever you need help with, I'm here for you. I am working on making my true passion a reality instead of just a dream. I am in the beginning of starting my own business. If we don't reach for our dreams, how do they ever become reality? I'm hoping Care. com helps me make caring for others my full-time work. While growing up, I spent a lot of time with my aunt and great aunts while my parents were working. I loved listening to their stories, learned how to bake, cook, clean and played endless hours of card games. As I got older I was able to help them out more by running errands (grocery shopping), house cleaning, cooking, providing transportation to doctor's visits, etc. I have multiple family references upon request that can be confirmed. Volunteer hours were needed to graduate high school. While I attended middle school, I completed my required community service hours at the local nursing home for companion care. I would come in and talk with patients, comb their hair, paint their toes, or just sit and be in their company. I know my time visiting them was enough to make them feel extra special. I would like to clarify that I am an occasional smoker. Please know that it would NEVER be in front of you if you do not care for it- I PROMISE! I take my work very seriously.
