I am an active mother of three successful adults. I have over 28 years of experience as a nanny, caring for the elderly, personal and pre and post surgery and hospice. I hold excellent references and do last minute emergencies and fill-ins. I am seeking a nursing degree. I am a runner, I have traveled extensively. I am honest and forthright and give 200 percent of any position I take on. I am very devoted to my clients. I keep children laughing and involved and active, and I play games and with babies, I rock and read and sing. I am an excellent healthy cook and up for any challenge. I can give my references upon request. I will bring a sample of my cooking. I just finished a 6 month assignment for a high profile family in Arlington who found me on Care.com. I assisted and helped prepare the family for twins, before, during and after the births. I provided support for a 3-year-old, helping her adjust; provided emotional support and care giving for mom and family that included a twin girl and boy. My duties included personal assistant/nanny in every way shape and form and caring for newborn twins, the 3-year-old through her transition phase to accepting the big change. My responsibilities included grocery shopping and adhering to strict regimented specific food guidelines. It also included research, phone calls, errands, organizing rooms/pantries/closets, supervising and tending to 3 small, medium, large-size dogs and giving them attention as well.
