Although I thankfully count Amy as a friend now, our relationship actually began several years ago when she served as President and I was a committee chairperson for the PTA at the elementary school where our children attend. This particular organization is a very dynamic and busy one with multiple committees and an annual budget of over $30,000. Although her position was a volunteer one, Amy demonstrated a level of commitment and enthusiasm one might expect from a paid employee. She was hands-on, detail-oriented, and could always be counted on. As a pleasant side bonus, I know many others share my perspective that Amy is a pleasure to work with.
