A tea party here is sure to be a hit for any American Girl devotee. Tea is served in the Water Tower Place store’s café, where dolls can sit at the table with party guests. Children choose from mint tea, hot cocoa, milk, or pink lemonade to drink and nibble on treats named after American Girls. (Think: Samantha’s cinnamon buns, Addy’s apple and Boursin cheese sandwich, and Kit’s chocolate mousse flowerpot.) Adults are served a more grown-up menu with vegetable frittata and caprese crostini, plus bellinis and mimosas.

Seating times for tea are from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Birthday party packages are also available at American Girl Place, as are a host of other services, including doll ear-piercing and doll hairstyling.
