At an early age in high school, I gained the experience of working in a classroom setting with children who had different types of disabilities. Throughout my work experience with children, I have worked for a mental health agency assisting schools with one on one home visits with clients to interact and observe behaviors for documentation. I have also worked as a school bus aide, assisting the driver with picking up disabled children and dropping them off at home. I am passionate about this work, because I understand the struggles that are involved in caring for family members that are disabled.

Yolanda and I worked together in 1994 in Brunswick, GA. Yolanda resigned to open her own home daycare in Florida. Our friendship has remained throughout the years. When Yolanda returned to Brunswick, our agencies often had the same clients. I have found her to be first of all loyal, warm-hearted, honest and willing to complete any task put before her.
