I've been around people with special needs my entire life! My older brother is moderately mentally handicapped, so I've grown up with it. Out of college, I spent a year and a half working as a job coach for adults with developmental disabilities as well as providing respite care for two young boys with developmental disabilities. I've worked with a wide range of mild and moderate diagnoses through these experiences and love the positive relationships I am able to form with my clients. I now currently work with at-risk youth instead of job coaching, but am looking to continue to provide respite care for those in the area. Because of my current job, I'm limited to only being available every other week. I have an energetic and creative approach with those I work with and am absolutely passionate about what I do.
