Hello my name is Tierra C. and I am 23 years young. I am new to Texas, Houston area specifically. I moved from Detroit and still adjusting to the Texas life. I have 7 plus years in infant/child care. I have no "professional" experience in the special needs/elderly area but I do have some experience. Although my experience isn't professional I have experience with assisting an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease. Our time together was short, the disease had gotten worse and caused for more care. I am still in touch with the family and nurses who now care for her. I also have a small amount of experience with children with ADD, ADHD and autism. Again the were not under any professional companies. Although these experiences weren't professional and short lived, they the most joyful experiences in my life. I enjoyed every minute of being with them. I've learned so much from them, probably more than they have from me. I love helping people and watching people grow. I am more than willing to learn, I am a fast learner and most importantly to me my heart is 100% in it. I am also an Army reservist of 2 and a half years and obtaining my CPR/first aid certificate.
