I have worked with people with special needs for the past three years with an emphasis on people on the autism spectrum. Through my work at a summer camp for people with ASD, I have worked with individuals ages 4-47 ranging from mild to more sever autism. I love working with this community of people and am very interested in continuing to do so. Likewise, I have worked with people with other disabilities such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome, fragile X, ID, etc... In addition to people with special needs, I have taught at a child development enter for the past two years with infants-3 years old and love working with these little ones as well.
