I am a fourth year student studying Sign Language Interpreting at the State University. I am in love with my program and am looking to reach out to build up my skills while being a caregiver whom I can provide for very easily. I have worked with Deaf children/adult throughout various tasks. One that has stood out in my undergraduate work was being a deaf/blind interpreter for the Ohio deaf/blind association. We went snow tubing and I had to provide sign language (my consumer preferred English sign). I am the most passionate about my career choice and just want to make a difference. Apart from studying sign language I am also apart of Greek life as Delta Zeta in which our philanthropy raises money for the deaf and hearing impaired for the Delta Zeta fund raising money for The Starkey Hearing Foundation, Gallaudet University, House Ear Institute and The Painted Turtle Camp. I currently am working with a child with Angelman Syndrome and love it!
