I have spent my career up to this point in Corporate America as a Graphic Designer. I wanted to reinvent myself and pursue my teachers certificate in Special Education. I did this through the Ga TAPP program. I passed all of the necessary test through GACE (Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators) and my next step to complete this program was to gain employment in select counties who participate in this program. Because of the economy and possibly the teaching scandals in Atlanta, I have not yet obtained employment in this area. Nevertheless, I an still very interested in working with this very special group of beautiful people and I have the compassion and patience necessary to be effective. I believe that joining this care group would assist me in gaining more knowledge and experience in working with this those who have Special Needs.
