I grew up with a twin brother who had cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and Asperger's. Growing up and seeing the strengths that developmental disabilities (DD) have given my brother, when most of society only saw set backs, has made me passionate to work with kids with similar diagnosis. As a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I am hoping to get more experience working with DD children to prepare me for the future as I plan to return to school in fall of 2015 to pursue my masters.
