Five years ago, a wonderful little boy came into my life. He was born with seven different heart defects, has asthma, needs ankle braces, wore an oxygen mask for the first three months of his life, and has Down Syndrome. Because of him, I've learned to take a more active role in the special needs community. He is also the reason I got certified in infant CPR. I also have some experience working with autistic children, as well as some other special needs. I am always willing to learn more.
