I attended and graduated with a diploma from Putnam Northern Westchester Practical Nursing School in 1986, up north. As part of my tour in geriatrics, I gained my experience with seniors in a nursing home. After graduating, I worked in a private nursing home, caring for Alzheimer's, dementia and rehabilitating patients. I previously had volunteered in a children's home working with hydrocephalic, Down syndrome and autistic children. I believe that although challenged, they can all lead healthy, productive, fulfilled lives. I enjoy observing progress made, leading up to performing to their full potential. I more recently worked with a senior, post total hip replacement surgery. I assisted with medications, showers, oral hygiene, cooked meals, did laundry, cleaned house, did physical therapy exercises, range of motion exercises, etc. In 1990 I moved to Stuart, FL, where I have resided since 08/90. I have had background and fingerprinting checks run and will submit to your personal requests for any background checks. I also have a clear, clean driving record.
