I am interested in this job because I love kids. I have a 5 1/2-year-old son with Autism, which affects his speech. I have plenty of experience and patience with this. I also know that keeping a regular schedule and routine is important, as well as being consistent and rewarding and praising good behavior, and making time for fun while learning. Also, with being non verbal I know how to look for non verbal cues, and give a lot of love and attention and 1 on 1 time. I also have experience with feeding, bathing, toileting, cooking, cleaning and pretty much whatever is required in the job description. I know how to properly care for kids and will treat yours as if they were mine.
