Along with professional experience I have a younger brother with Autism Spectrum disorder which has helped me understand and relate to others who live with those with disabilities. Melissa has been caring for our boys for over a year. We have 2 high energy boys and she's absolutely wonderful with them. When she started working for us our younger son was 6 months. She gave him the love he needed and he instantly bonded with her. She is amazing with our older son who is 3 years old. She talks to him in such a kind but firm way and quickly diffuses tantrums. Her nursing background has been tremendously helpful when the kids are sick and when our younger son needs asthma treatments. She does lots of fun activities and crafts with the kids. When I leave the kids with her to go to work, I feel that they are safe and well taken care of. I honestly love everything about Melissa she has truly become part of our family!
