My mother was born visually impaired so I have been exposed to this all my life. With different family members and friends having different disabilities (they themselves having disabilities) from Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, & mild to severe mental retardation, I am no stranger to special needs. My daughter was born three months premature with many issues so I was home with her for a year. I cannot tell you how passionate I am about the opportunities I have had working with the special needs community as well as the many rewards that have come along with it. There is not a day that goes by that I learn something new every day that I didn't know the day before.

We Love Mattie! She is the best care giver we have ever had! She is very kind,patient and hands on! She has been working with special needs children and adults for many years and you can definitely tell. If you looking for someone to feel like they are apart of you family she is the gal for you!!
