Mary has worked for me for over a year and a half. We needed someone to be a provider for our newly quadriplegic son. We needed someone with some medical background, ability to learn and adapt to the needs of our son, and be completely dependable. Mary, who had worked in the VA tending to veterans, had phlebotomy training, and had OSHA training and met our needs perfectly. Today, she is our son's nurse and "right hand" person assisting him in the morning ritual of hygiene, transfer, and feeding. She also makes sure he performs the stretches and exercises necessary to prevent contraction, and breakdown. She cleans his rooms and disinfects daily. She washes, dries, and folds his laundry and preps his bed for night transfer. A final plus is her positive and caring personality. I can only give the highest recommendation to anyone seeking to employ her on her designated weekends.
