I am happy to offer care to a wide variety of individuals after my experience as an OTA student (with honors) and working as a recent graduate. I have recently relocated to my home state of MS from the Louisville, KY metro area. I have clinical and community experience with seniors, adults in physical rehab, early intervention (ages 0-3 years), and with individuals with developmental disabilities (school aged children and adults.) For those who are unfamiliar with occupational therapy, it includes training people to relearn healthy habits, recover basic living skills after an accident, to compensate for a disability to achieve higher independence, to reach developmental milestones, to provide patient and family education, or even to organize a schedule or environment to achieve greater independence and safety. I also have practiced as a licensed massage therapist for nearly 10 years, which has been an asset for me to help those who are limited due to pain and range of motion.
