Throughout the past year, I have babysat for a wonderful family who has a daughter, age 15, with Down Syndrome. I met her in my high school because I was a member of a club called Best Buddies that promoted one-on-one friendships between average students and those with special needs. I ended up being VP of this club for three years because I was so passionate about what this club promoted. I have also babysat periodically for two other families that I met through this club, another child with Down Syndrome and another child with Autism.

Madelyne is a very responsible, creative, compassionate and trustworthy person who is wonderfully insightful with children! She has a love of kids and is pursuing a career in education. She has a special way about her that invites both adults and children to be happy and comfortable around her. I highly recommend her as a very reliable and loving caregiver!
