I have enjoyed working with children and their families since I was a young teenager. I began babysitting at the age of 10 and eventually pursued a career in teaching with an associate degree in early childhood education from Schenectady County Community College. I later completed my B.S. in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I have worked with adults with disabilities for over four years and have worked as an early childhood/special education teaching assistant and teacher for four years. I am dedicated to the children, adults, and families I serve; concern for preserving specific family practices and culture is extremely vital. I have a knack for making tasks fun and educational while maintaining routine and effective behavior management strategies. I love to include the outdoors in anyway possible! Currently I am transitioning into a massage therapy program full-time from September 2014-June 2015, although my availability will be much the same.
