Hello! I work part-time as a job coach, sign language interpreter in the deaf and hard of hearing services. Everyday, I train people with multiple disabilities for various jobs. I help them to overcome different barriers and help to work out accommodations. The ultimate goal is for the client to be independent and successful in the work place. I also work as a sign language interpreter for Community Services for the Deaf. Sign language has been proven over and over again to be beneficial for various disabilities including Autism and Apraxia. I love working with children. I am the Vacation Bible School director at my church and have been a Sunday school teacher for several years. I also have an 11-month-old son who is currently learning simple signs. I am offering to teach sign language to children who struggle to communicate verbally. I use fun teaching methods to engage your child to learn. Please contact me with any questions!
