I have 3 years' experience with working with a low functioning autistic boy, age 10. Also this summer, I had several weeks experience working with an 8-year-old with asperger's. I am extremely passionate about autism and want to get as much experience as possible. I am currently a student at Texas State, getting my degree in communication disorders to be a speech therapist and eventually target autistic children's communication problems. I am not only restricted to autism, keep in mind I am available to all special needs, that is just what I have most experience in.
